matrimony… magic

heaven we entered into this
promise of a lifetime…
i cannot commit;
if someone should permit,
a contract i cannot keep and
such a signature is delusional
even if it was sealed with a kiss.
in time, most seals break like heart and
soul, also this bond i entered, teetering
on the edge. i don’t know why i entertain
this illusion of matrimony in my head…
but don’t ask for my hand, not a digit more
of what i can yield. after all, aren’t
illusions reserved for magicians,
the ones who can disappear
