There’s love… and then there’s the none-love. That heart circle that’s void of love. A non-heart disguised as one. None-love.

This is the other half, the compliment. For love to exist, there had to have been an environment where love didn’t or barely existed. And what if we arrived at this, what do we do? To find out that at the end of it, there wasn’t any love, that it didn’t exist after all. It blows me away to come to it and yet all there is to do is accept it. The none-love, the void and silence from love, it’s all I can do to keep myself from falling into a deep melancholy. I accept that it happens, but it doesn’t mean it is the only source from where we can seek love. If we really read into it, it’s pointing us to a different direction away and into another.

i’m not that bad–
i wouldn’t do that
and I see now how far
money has gotten you;
i don’t know for what,
but it was an honest mistake–
it just came out
and I didn’t mean
what just slipped from me;
but in what you said,
i clearly hear
what you intend–
that i didn’t matter–
never mattered anyway
and it’s time I knew
this was the truth
all along
you cannot hide it,
no matter what you say
after today
